- OWNER / COLOUR DIRECTOR -

I started my career in hairdressing as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon and worked my way up to senior colour technician.

After ten years in London, I travelled to Australia where I honed my cutting and styling skills with Aveda. When I moved back to the UK, I thrived on building a local clientele at a new salon in East Dulwich.

It was settling down with my fiancé Lenny and later having our baby boy Ralph that inspired me to open my own business close to home in the area I love. I wanted to create a place that combines beautiful, professional hairdressing with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. And here we are now!

You’ll find me in the salon every day between Tuesday and Saturday, and I specialise in colour.

- SENIOR STYLIST -

Stevie has been in hairdressing for more than 30 years, and is an in-demand freelance Senior Stylist. We’re lucky enough to have Stevie at The Rise part-time, working on Fridays and Saturdays.

Aside from roles with Aveda and Toni & Guy, Stevie has worked with backstage teams at Fashion Week shows in London, Milan and Paris, and styled shoots for numerous fashion magazines and designers – Vivienne Westwood among them.

His celebrity client list reads like a fashion who’s who, with Anna Wintour, Yasmin LeBon, Jerry Hall, Erin O’Connor, Jensen Button, Gerard Butler and Cheryl Cole all having graced his chair. Give us a call if you’d like to be next.

- SENIOR STYLIST -

Sibel started her hairdressing career at the age of 16 as an apprentice with Vidal Sassoon. She qualified with distinction, and specialised in precision cutting and barbering, working in some of London’s top salons.

When her two children came along, Sibel built up a successful mobile hairdressing business, allowing her to balance parenthood with her passion for hair.

We’re thrilled that Sibel has joined our team at The Rise as a very talented Senior Stylist, bringing with her 20 years of experience, a loyal list of clients, and expertise in creating classic and creative looks for all hair types. You can book an appointment with Sibel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and occasional Saturdays.

- STYLIST -

Blonding expert, Lily’s career started when she was trained by a Jo Hansford colourist and built up her portfolio through an apprenticeship in East Dulwich and now has over 15 years experience.

Lily is a colourist with passion, always seeking out new styles to create the perfect colour and loves the challenge of colour correction. If you are looking for that perfect stand out this season wether it be Halo lights, Champagne gloss, Copper hues or the on trend face frame Lily is your girl!

Also available for haircuts with long hair and glamorous blow drys on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Thursdays.
